To celebrate the season...

...and mainly to force ourselves to think it's Christmastime, Blake and I rode around Tuscaloosa looking at Christmas lights. Isn't funny how we turn into our parents? I remember as children, we begged them to take the quick route home so we didn't have to look at the boring lights. Now, I keep finding myself taking the long road home.

While riding around, I kept replaying the lyrics to Coldplay's Christmas Lights.

Oh Christmas lights, light up the street

Light up the fireworks in me

May all your troubles soon be gone

Those Christmas lights keep shinin' on

I've sent a hybrid arrangement of Christmas cards this year. While I'm absolutely obsessed with the postal service, I simply can't afford to send everyone I love a card that costs $0.50 to send. So in true millennial spirit, I opted to send my coworkers an E-mail. Perhaps you've heard of Paperless Post?
